The World According to Lucas..

It all started on January 23rd at EMI Studios, in Borehamwood, England.... all there was of the greatest saga ever screened were a sound technician, some special effects people,oh and George Lucas ... Today would see the beginning of shooting for EpIV, you remember that film that either changed your life or made you green with envy....(Trekkies know what I mean) though from a celluloid point of view the first images of principal photography would not start until 6.30am on Monday March 22nd 1976 in Tunisia. All we would hear today, yes that's right hear is a load of whistles and electronic chatter which would become the 'voice' of a little Astromech droid called R2D2....and some strange sounds like a strip light on the blink or poor feedback from a speaker... the Lightsaber was born.

It has always been with profound sense of pride that I lay claim as do countless thousands, if not millions to being a Star Wars fan. With some annoyance I suffered acne and puberty just so I could leave school and finance my passion though people who know me will say it is an obsession, who cares? not me... I have Star Wars coming out of my ears, my collection like my knowledge grows every day. So what is this website about I hear you say, along with get on with it...
As I build this website up I hope to get as many Star Wars fans and 'Super fans' together in one medium to share all our knowledge... be it Soft toys or armour conversion, I hope to have it here. So bear with me and I promise that you will be
